This Regional Law establishes plenary powers of regional state bodies and local government related to land tenure of urban land pertaining to public land. It shall not be applicable to agricultural land and land of protected areas.

This Regional Law establishes that public land servitude shall be applicable in case when regional state interests, interests of local government or local population cannot otherwise be ensured without the application thereof.

This Act makes provision for the division of real property in strata lots, defines rights of common ownership and related rights in relation with a strata plan, and provides for administration of common property and the registration of strata titles.Land under the operation of the Registration of Titles Act may be subdivided into strata lots in accordance with a strata plan registered by the Registrar of Titles in the manner provided by this Act. The proprietors of all the strata lots contained in any strata plan shall, upon registration of the strata plan, become a body corporate.

La présente loi met en exécution la loi fédérale du 4 octobre 1991 sur le droit foncier rural. L’article 7 établit que tout morcellement d'immeubles situés en zone agricole qui a pour effet de créer des parcelles d'une superficie inférieure à 25 ares est interdit. Cette surface est réduite à 15 ares pour les parcelles incorporées dans le cadastre viticole.(1) Des autorisations exceptionnelles peuvent toutefois être accordées par l'autorité compétente pour justes motifs, au sens des articles 59 et 60 de la loi fédérale, et si aucun intérêt prépondérant de l'agriculture n'est lésé.

The purpose of the present Act is to: a) provide certainty in ownership of interests in land; b) simplify proof of ownership of interests in land; c) facilitate the economic and efficient execution of transactions affecting interests in land; and d) provide compensation for persons who sustain loss from a failure of the land registration system.

Article 1 establishes that the official survey and spatial information system is part of the national infrastructure for spatial development of the state Mecklenburg-Vorpommern safeguarding ownership of land. The present Law provides the legal framework for the operation of spatial information infrastructure in the Free State of Saxony and regulates its relation to the national geo-data infrastructure. Furthermore, the Law implements aspects of the environment policy of the European Union.

The present Law enforces the Federal Spatial Information Act of 5 October 2007 and the related Ordinances. The purpose of the present Law is to provide authorities both at a national and cantonal level, economy, science and the public with spatial information in a sustainable, up to date, quick and simple way. Furthermore, this data shall be of good quality and at reasonable costs.

This Act provides for the registration of title in land in the Bermudas. It establishes the Land Title Registry Office and defines the general powers of registrar. This Act does not affect the law of property in Bermuda as it applies to estates, interests or dealings in land that are not registered or required to be registered under this Act. The registrar shall establish and maintain the land title register and the cautions register. The cautions register shall include an individual register for each caution against the first registration of title to an unregistered estate.

In particular, the Law contains provisions on: 1) management of the spatial data information system; 2) geographical names; 3) the public legal restrictions on landownership cadastre; 4) official cadastral survey.
