This Decree-Law amends and re-publishes Decree-Law No. 37/2014 of 22 July, approving the special legal regime for the implementation of land registers in the islands of Sal, Boa Vista, São Vicente and Maio.

La presente Ley crea el Ministerio de la Mujer y de la Equidad de Género, que constituirá la Secretaría de Estado encargada del diseño, coordinación y evaluación de las políticas, planes y programas destinados a promover la equidad de género, la igualdad de derechos y de procurar la eliminación de toda forma de discriminación arbitraria en contra de las mujeres.

This Act makes provision in relation to succession to real and personal estate on intestacy.

This Act consists of 7 Parts: Preliminary (I); Acquisition (II); Reference to an Appeals Board and procedure thereon (III); Apportionment of Compensation (IV); Payment (V); Temporary Occupation of Land (VI); Miscellaneous (VII).The Act provides a legal framework for the acquisition of private land by the government for the benefit of the public. Procedures and requirements for the acquisiton of land are set out in detail in the text. The Act further provides for the constitution of one or more Appeal Boards for the purpose of hearing appeals in respect of any award made by the Collector.

La presente Ley establece mecanismos, medidas y políticas integrales de prevención, atención, protección y reparación a las mujeres en situación de violencia, así como la persecución y sanción a los agresores, con el fin de garantizar a las mujeres una vida digna y el ejercicio pleno de sus derechos para Vivir Bien. El principio del Vivir Bien está definido como la condición y desarrollo de una vida íntegra material, espiritual y física, en armonía consigo misma, el entorno familiar, social y la naturaleza (art. 4º).

This Act amends the Land Act (Cap. 132) in sections 30, 37, 38, 40 and 41 by repealing "convicted of an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "convicted of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years". Section 37 is further amended by adding a provision on suspension of sentence and its effects on loss of rights of inheritance. Sections 38 and 41 are further amended by repealing "conviction for an indictable offence" and replacing those words with "conviction of a criminal offence and sentenced to imprisonment for more than two years".

This Act amends the Nauru Lands Committee Act 1956. The amendments are set out in the Schedule to this Act and concern, among other things: the power of the Committee to determine the distribution of the personal estate of deceased Nauruans. ‘Personal estate’ means the personal property to which a deceased person was entitled at the time of the person’s death, and any share or interest in such property, that is: (a) subject to the law of Nauru; and (b) not real estate.

The Act amends the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 1991 in relation with succession and rent review and the Agricultural Holdings (Scotland) Act 2003 by adding a new provision to section 9 on the review of rent under limited duration tenancies.

This Act concerns judicial sales of property including agricultural crop. It gives rules for the seizure and execution by way of sale. At any time, while the execution debtor remains in possession of the property seized, as judicial sequestrator, any creditor may obtain an order for the sale of part or of the whole of the crop of the said property. All sums of money which shall have been advanced by any sequestrator in accordance with the foregoing provisions shall be a privileged claim on the crop of the property.

This Act provides for the grant by the Government of perpetual leases, i.e. leases of State land granted for the purposes of land settlement, which shall endure in perpetuity unless they lapse or are terminated or surrendered. Perpetual leases of State land may be granted for purposes of land settlement and shall be subject to terms and conditions stated in them and in provisions of this Act. Transfer, mortgage, etc. of a lease shall be subject to permission of the Government.
