The present Ordinance implements the Federal Agricultural Lease Act of 4 October 1985. Farmers living in the area enjoy priority rights in case of lease of alpine pastures. Otherwise the competent authority shall advertise such a lease in the legal gazette. The text consists of 19 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Purpose (1); Definitions (2); Completing cantonal provsions (3); Cantonal authorities (4); Final provisions (5).

These Rules implement selected provisions of the Registered Land Act. They define the form of the register in the First Schedule and the form of a title deed and a certificate of lease in the Second Schedule. Any register, certificate of freehold title or instrument which complies with the form prescribed under the Land Consolidation Act shall be deemed to comply with these Rules. The Rules contain other provisions regarding forms, provide for the verification of instruments, prescribe fees for registration and limit powers of the Registrar to prepare a title or registration instrument.

Landlord and Tenant (Shops, Hotels and Catering Establishments) (Rent Book Form) Regulations (Cap. 301).

These Regulations prescribe the form of rent book required to be kept by the landlord under section 3(3) of the Act. The form of rent book is set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

These Regulations provide rules for proceedings before the Tribunal established under the Tenant (Shops, Hotels and Catering Establishments) Act and prescribe forms of notices relative to tenancy contracts and proceedings before the Tribunal. The Regulations provide that forms used in proceedings before the Tribunal shall be the forms used in subordinate courts from time to time with such modification as may be necessary.

Government Lands (Charges for Temporary Occupation Licences) Rules (Cap. 280).

These Rules regulate handling of charges for a temporary occupation licence. An applicant for a temporary occupation licence shall deposit with his or her application the amount of the charge prescribed by these Rules for the licence. If the application is refused, the sum deposited shall be refunded to the applicant but if the applicant withdraws his or her application, or refuses or neglects to execute or accept the licence when called upon to do so, the sum deposited shall be forfeited.

These Rules prescribe, in the Schedule, the form that shall be used in every application for a lease or licence for special purposes under Part V of the Government Lands Act. A deposit shall accompany every application. This shall be allocated towards the amount due in respect of the area if granted or refunded to the applicant if the application is refused. The deposit shall be forfeited if a false statement is made.

These Rules prescribe a fee for every consent in respect of a transfer conveyance, assignment, mortgage, charge, sale, lease or sub-lease of a developed plot of Government land as provided for Government Lands (Consents) Rules and for every consent in respect of any other transaction or dealing with land (within or outside a municipality) not otherwise provided for in the Government Lands Act. The fee shall be charged notwithstanding anything contained in the Government Lands (Consents) Rules for any consents applied for and given by the Commissioner of Lands.

These Rules concern the consent of the President of Kenya to the execution of a mortgage of Government land in lease and consent of the President to any assignment, transfer or sublease between parties of the same piece of land for all leases of farms or town plots issued under the Crown Lands Ordinance, 1902.

These Rules prohibit the lease or sale of Government land outside the area of any township or station within a given distance from the centre of any public road. Furthermore, no building, fencing or other obstacle shall be erected within a given distance from the centre of any public road outside the area of any township or station.

Native Lands (Amendment) Decree 2011 (No. 7 of 2011).

This Decree amends the Native Lands Act by replacing in the Act and all subsidiary legislation made under the Act the word "native" with the word "i Taukei". It also inserts a new section (1A), which provides that all written laws (of Fiji) are to be changed by deleting all references to "native" and inserting therefor the word "i Taukei".

This Circular amends and supplements various points of Finance Ministry’s Circular No. 120/2005/TT-BTC guiding the Government’s Decree No. 142/2005/ND-CP on collection of land rents and water surface rents.Amendments have been made to: Section I of Part B on land rent rates for annual rent payment; Section III of Part B on the percentage for calculating the land rent rate with annual rent payment; and to Item 1.4, Point 1, Section IV of Part C on investment licences and business registration certificates.
