A discussion paper on civil society's participation in land policy-making, focused on the pre-consultation phase of Myanmar's National Land Use Policy. Written by Eben Forbes, with research assistance from Dr. Nu Nu Khin and
Yadana Than Htaik, and published by Land Core Group, Loka Ahlinn and Mekong Region Land Governance in February 2017.

This report provides background on Cambodia's legal framework, as well as data on the granting of social land concessions, reclassification of land, the land titling program, and land disputes. Dispute resolution mechanisms are also discussed.

The personal stories show what is lost when a home is destroyed or livelihood disrupted; and how people living in poverty are routinely excluded from decisions affecting them. Case studies include evictions from Boeung Kak Lake, Battambang, Koh Kong, Preah Sihanouk, Pursat and Kampong Chhnang, Phnom Penh, Kratie and Siem Reap.

Report by the Rural Research & Development Training Center on the impacts of land and forest policies on the livelihood of ethnic minorities. This study intends to contribute to a better understanding of how institutional arrangements governing ethnic minorities’ rights to access and control over land and forest impact on their livelihoods, based on a field study in 5 ethnic minority villages in Sekong province, Laos.

Report discusses the labour practices observed and changes in the target communities. It provides detailed summary descriptions of work practices and conditions that are contrasted against key national legal instruments namely the Labour Law. It also identifies a few key emerging developments in the target communities observed in the course of the research. Report was written for Global Association of People and the Environment (GAPE) & Japanese International Volunteer Center (JVC), funded by Oxfam Novib.

The 1915.70 hectares of state land from forest cover 2002 in Sangkat Samaki, Krong Stung Treng, Stung Treng province was privatized for social land concession project to allocate to former armed forces and their families.

The land of which size is 1,120 hectares has been reclassified from Forest Cover 2002 in Krang Dei Vay commune, Phnom Sruoch district, and in Reaksmei Samaky commune, Aoral district, Kampong Speu province for social land concessions to veteran families and poor civilians. The governor of Kampong Speu province has been granted the authority to manage this project.

The purpose of this sub-decree is to privatize state public land of which size is 3469 hectares, in Boeung Lvea Commune, Santuk District, Kampong Thom Province, in order to grant social land concessions to 253 families who were affected by a riverbank collapse in Peam Village and Peam Krao Village, Peam Koh Sla Commune, Strung Trang District, Kampong Cham Province.

The 1288 hectare of state land which was cut out from Bokor Monivong National Park from forest cover 2002 in Techo Aphivat commune, Chhuk district, Kampot province was privatized for social land concession to allocate to former armed forces and their families.

The forest reserve of which size is 1703 hectares located in Kork Khpos commune, Banteay Ampil district, Oddar Meanchey province was privatized​ to grant social land concessions and develop the area for military development.

The 3636 hectares of state land from forest cover 2002 located in Ampil Pram Daeum commune, Bavel district, Battambang province was privatized for social land concession project to allocate to former armed forces and their families, and general poor people.
