This Act aims to auhtorize the granting by the Crown of land at Northcote to the Aborigines Advancement League Incorporated. Section 6 stipulates that no compensation is payable by the Crown in respect of anything done under or arising out of this Act. The Act is completed by one Schedule specifying land which may be granted to the Aborigines Advancement League Incorporated.

La presente ley tiene por objeto la preservación, conservación, defensa y mejoramiento del medio ambiente de la provincia de Tierra del Fuego, Antártida e Islas del Atlántico Sur. A tal fin establece sus principios rectores con miras a perpetuar los ecosistemas existentes en su territorio, como patrimonio común de todas las generaciones, debiendo asegurar la conservación de la calidad ambiental, la diversidad biológica y sus recursos escénicos.
