The Integrated Financing Strategy (IFS) is a national wide document, developed by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in partnership with the Ministry of Environment, supported by the Global Mechanism (GM) of the UNCCD, to implement Jordan’s commitments towards UNCCD. The IFS aims at providing a comprehensive and coordinated approach to financing and project implementation that would combat desertification and promote SLM, and in doing so to provide a more stable climate for investment and financing in this area for Jordan.

These Regulations provide a consolidated system of environmental permitting in England and Wales. They transpose provisions of 15 Directives which impose obligations required to be delivered through permits or capable of being delivered through permits. They define the term “regulated facility” and require every regulated facility to be operated under the authority of an environmental permit.

This Act makes provision with respect to a wide variety of matters regarding the environment in Wales including: the sustainable management of natural resources (includes animals, plants and other organisms, air, water and soil) climate change and targets for reducing emissions of greenhouse gases from Wales; collection and disposal of waste; shellfish fisheries; marine licensing; land drainage.

The purpose of this Act is to contribute to the promotion of the public interest and the development of industries by effectively executing erosion control work in order to prevent devastation of national land and conserve the national land. The Physical Development Plan for North Montserrat is a regional policy with a multi-sectoral approach. The timeframe of the Plan is 10 years between 2012 and 2022.
