Los aspesctos técnicos mencionados en este documento tienen como objetivo socializar una seria de normativas y procedimientos que tendrian que ser establecidos en territorios de poblaciones indígenas y de afrodescendientes, para discutir sobre la realización de proyectos urbanos en estas áreas de Nicaragua. A community’s choice to give, or withhold, their free, prior and informed consent (FPIC) to a project or activity planned to take place on their land is a recognized right of Indigenous peoples under international law. It is also a best practice principle that applies to all communities affected by projects or activities on the land, water and forests that they rely on.

2 days to change the world through Indigenous rights

On 22–23 June 2019, the Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) will be held in Bonn, Germany, focusing on tackling climate change by improving rights for Indigenous peoples and local communities. Alongside the U.N. Bonn Climate Change Conference (SBSTA 50), the event will bring together more than 1,500 global Indigenous leaders, scientists, politicians, activists, youth, members of the private sector, creative thinkers and more.

Cela signifie que les communautés ont le droit de prendre des décisions par leurs propres représentants librement choisis et leurs institutions, coutumières ou autres, telles que les autorités locales et les élus locaux. Ce guide d'accompagnement doit être utilisé pour des formations en consentement libre, préalable et en connaissance de cause.

Este documento es una síntesis de los resultados de la investigación aplicada "Titulación de las Comunidades Nativas - Avances y desafíos" en San Martin, que tuvo por objetivo analizar el proceso de titulación y su impacto en doce comunidades nativas de tres métodos de recolección de datos, el equipo recabó información de un total de 684 informantes en las comunidades seleccionadas.
