This Act provides for the administration of small estates in case of an owner dying intestate or with a will leaving a small estate. "Small estates" means all property, real and personal of a deceased person which does not exceed a specified value. Persons specified in section 3 may apply to the Registrar to be appointed as administrator.

A person may by will dispose of a contingent, executory or future interest in real property. Wills may be deposited with the Registrar of Probates and Administration.

This Ordinance concerns probate of will of a deceased person and the administration of deceased persons granted to an administrator by or without a will. Assets and liabilities of a deceased person shall be determined by the Supreme Court. The Court shall notify executors on probate of will and shall issue probate or letters of administration in accordance with provisions of this Ordinance.
