The Kyrgyz Republic suffered severe
shocks during the early years of independence, loosing its
traditional markets in the Former Soviet Union republics, as
well as substantial transfers and subsidies from the Soviet
Union, that included a falling GDP during the first five
years of transition. These circumstances prompted the Kyrgyz
Republic to adopt a wide range of reforms to accelerate the
transition to a market economy, emphasizing price and trade

The 2123.99 hectares of state land in Som Aoung village, Meanrith commune, Sandan district, Kampong Thom province was privatized for social land concession to allocate to landless and land-poor people.

The study reviews the macroeconomic
developments in the Kyrgyz Republic following the collapse
of the Soviet Union, when adjustments were required since
output fell by fifty percent between 1991-95, resulting in
adverse fiscal consequences, which triggered losses in tax
revenues, along with the implicit end of energy subsidies.

Cutting a total land of 1,569 ha in Chen village in Svay Chrum commune of Rolea Bphea district, and Pea Rang village in Choung Mung commune and Lor village in Toul Kpos commune of Tuek Phos district in Kampong Chhnang province: 45 ha from former Sery Enterprise; and 1524 ha from economic land concession of Pheapimex; and Reclassifying 1517 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 1,110 families; and Reserving 52 ha as community forest and public state land.

Cutting 7,792 ha of land in Sroyang Tboung village of Sroyang commune in Kulen district of Preah Vihear province: 3,025 ha from Forest Concession of TPP, 1,910 ha from ELC of Seila Damex Co., Ltd, 309 ha from ELC of FP Malaysia (Cambodia) Plantation Co., Ltd, and 2,548 ha from SLC program; Reclassifying unspecified size of land as state private land for donating to 1,758 families; Reserving unspecified size of land for public interest use.

Cutting 2,340.79 hectares of land in Por Pok commune, Staung district, Kampong Thom province: (1) cutting 2,000.30 hectares from Beoung Per Wildlife Sanctuary, and (2) cutting 340.49 hectares from Economic Land Concession of CRCK 2; reclassifying 2,279.89 hectares as state private land for granting ownership donation to 619 families, and reserving 60.90 hectares for physical infrastructure.

Cutting 516.93 ha of land Samrong village of Ty Pou commune in Santuk district of Kampong Thom province: 205.96 ha from ELC of BNA, and 310.97 ha from 2002 Forest Cover; Reclassifying 499.01 ha as state private land for granting donation of ownership to 147 families; Reserving 17.92 ha for physical infrastructure development; and Granting rights to 215 private land parcels.

Cutting 269.2104 ha in Tarlao village of Tarlao commune in Andoung Meas district of Ratanak Kiri province: 69.0858 ha from ELC of Veasna Investment, and 200.1246 ha from ELC of Hoang Anh Oyadav; Donating 230.3759 ha to 50 families; and Reserving 38.8345 ha as state public land.

Cutting 516.31 ha of land in Anlong village of Kroyar commune in Prasat Balang district of Kampong Thom province: 258.18 ha from Beoung Per Wildlife Sanctuary, and 258.14 ha from ELC of Mekong compnay; Reclassifying 494.44 ha as state private land for donating to 141 families; Reserving 21.88 ha as state public land; and Granting ownership to 251 private land parcels and 1 public land parcel.

Cutting 292.7919 ha in Karnorng village of Tarlao commune in Andoung Meas district of Ratanak Kiri province from ELC of Hoang Anh Oyadav; Donating 228.2264 ha to 71 families; and Reserving 64.5655 ha as state public land.
