The State Institute for Public Health and the Environment shall at least once every four years report to the Minister in the form of a scientific study on the state of the nature, forests and landscape indicating also probable and otherwise foreseeable future developments regarding the environment. The Minister shall indicate all bodies that shall be involved in the preparation of the plan. The report shall be sent to the parliament.

This Resolution of the Council of Ministers regulates the Urbanization Plan of Évora (3rd Revision). This Decree makes provision for the surveying and mapping of land in relation to registration of land in the cadaster and in particular prescribes qualifications and describes functions of cadastral surveyors and assistant cadastral surveyors. These officials shall be appointed by Ministerial Decision in accordance with articles 6 to 16 and operate in the operation territory of a land Affairs Office (art. 10). They shall carry out measurement and mapping of land for purposes of land registration and division, partition or unification of plots of land.

These Regulations amend the Planning Regulations, 1994 to 1998 to provide for matters of procedure in relation to a request to a planning authority for an opinion on the information which should be contained in an environmental impact statement. The amendments also extend the procedures to be followed in the case of a proposed development which would be located on an environmentally sensitive site or be likely to have significant effects on the environment in another Member State of the European Communities.

This Regulation lays down rules governing urban planning. It is composed of six Chapters: (I) Types, content and procedures of urban planning; (II) Rules and conditions of urban planning; (III) Roads outside residence areas and constructions alongside; (IV) Rules for designing and planning water pipelines; (V) Role and tasks of the Urban Planning and Studies Institute; (VI) Urban symbols. Environmental impact assessments shall be carried out.

The Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of keeping the state land cadastre containing data on land classification, dimensions and boundaries of the plots of land, land registration and valuation. Data of the state land cadastre shall be used for land use planning and land protection, land transactions and land valuation. A registration unit shall be a separated plot of land closed up by boundaries and allotted to a subject of land property relations.

Natural Resources Conservation (Permits and Licences) Regulations 1996.

These Regulations provide for the grant of permits for activities in prescribed areas in the sense of section 9 of the Natural Resources Conservation Authority Act and the grant of licences in accordance with section 12 of the same Act for existing facilities. The Conservation Authority may, by notice, require the owner or any person having the charge or management of an existing facility to upgrade such facility to current standards applicable to new facilities (reg. 9). Regulation 13 provides for renewal of licences, regulation 15 for the revocation of suspension of a licence.

Town and Country Planning (Appeal Tribunal) Rules, 1997.

These Rules outline requirements for and procedures of notification of appeal and appeal with the Tribunal against enforcement notices pursuant to provisions of the Town and Country Planning Act. A notice shall be accompanied by the following documents: (1) the enforcement notice to which the appeal relates; (ii) where the relevant enforcement notice requires the cessation of work in any development, a certificate from the Government Town Planner certifying that the work has ceased in conformity with that Notice (rule 3). (5 rules)

Le libellé de l'arrêté royal du 24 octobre 1978 portant exécution de l'article 37, deuxième alinéa, de la loi du 29 mars 1962 organique de l'aménagement du territoire et de l'urbanisme, est remplacé par le libellé suivant: "Arrêté royal du 24 octobre 1978 portant exécution de l'article 35, deuxième alinéa, du décret portant l'aménagement du territoire, coordonné le 22 octobre 1996." Le paragraphe 2 du même article est abrogé. L'arrêté comprend 5 articles.
