Exploitation of mineral deposits on land and sea must be part of a sustainable development plan which purpose is to ensure monitoring of mining areas after extraction, raw material supply, ensure that raw materials used are quality based and that raw materials shall be, where possible, replaced by waste products.

This document lays down the Strategic Plan for Environment and Development (SPED), which was adopted by Malta following the introduction of Directive 2014/89/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for maritime spatial planning. The SPED provides the spatial framework that supports the development of an integrated maritime policy at a national level.

Section 2 declares that all land in Papua New Guinea shall be subject to this Act. Section 4 defines matters primarily of national interest for the purposes of this Act. Where consideration is being given to a physical planning matter under this Act, the appropriate authority shall take into account the provisions of the Environmental Planning Act 1978, the Environmental Contaminants Act 1978, and the Conservation Areas Act 1978 and other matters listed in section 5. The Minister may appoint a Chief Physical Planner for the purposes of this Act pursuant to section 6.

These Regulations amend the Planning (Control of Major-Accident-Hazards) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 to implement Directive 2003/105/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Council Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances. They amend Part A (named substances) of Schedule 3 and make transitional exemptions for purposes of Article 61 of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991.

The purpose of this Act is to regulate provisions regarding transfer of lands to individuals in order to make efficient use of water and fertile soil, as well as leading the country to self-sufficiency. In particular, it should be noted that rights of the people on fruitful lands should be respected. Exploitation of the natural woods and forests are exclusive rights of the Government. The Government may assign abandoned lands to individuals for agricultural purpose. Indigenous people and persons with knowledge in agriculture are considered as a priority.
