This Regional Law establishes the particulars of turnover and land-use planning of agricultural land. Minimum consolidated agricultural land area resulting from privatization shall be 60 ha. Maximum agricultural land area that can be owned by a single natural or legal person shall not exceed 50 percent of the whole available agricultural land area within a municipal district. Regional administration, represented by the authorized executive body shall have preferential right of purchase of a plot of agricultural land at commercial value except for public auction sale.

Item 14 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The provisions of this Regulation shall be applicable irrespectively of the form of property and/or ownership of the plots of land on which sites subject to licensing are located”.

Decree No. 25 of 2013 (IV. 16.) VM of the Ministry of Rural Development laying down detailed rules of land surveying and cartography activity related to real estate registration.

This Decree provides that before supplying data for land surveying activity having real estate registration purpose, the congruency between data contained in the uniform real estate registration database must be verified. If the discrepancy exceeds the allowable measure, the competent land office must proceed with the verification of data. Further provisions contains detailed rules concerning types of schematic maps regarding changes, measuring activity, area calculation, marking the land parcel line, periodical on-site inspections, format of supplied data.

The present Rules are made under the Responsible Energy Development Act. In particular, the Rules establish that private surface agreements between landowners and energy companies operating on their property can now be registered with the Alberta Energy Regulator’s new Private Surface Agreements Registry (PSAR). Created as part of the Alberta Energy Regulator’s mandate to oversee energy development in the province. The Rules allow landowners to request the Regulator’s intervention, if they feel a company is not meeting a term or condition of a registered agreement.

This Decree lays down detailed rules regarding the subject and content of real estate registration. It specifies one by one rights and facts that must or may be registered on property records. It also specifies the categories of real estates, such as crop field, grass land, vineyard, orchard, forest, fish pond, uncultivated land, and various kind of buildings. Real estate registration process, changing of recorded data, and the necessary documents for the registration are also described in this Decree.

Decree No. 608 of the Council of Ministers validating the Regulation on the modalities of conduct of electronic auctions for sale of public plots of land and the right of the conclusion of lease contracts related to public land plots.

This Decree establishes the modalities of organization and conduct of electronic auctions for sale of public plots of land and the right of the conclusion of lease contracts related to public land plots destined for sale for residential housing construction and lease contracts for servicing thereof. Seller of public land plots shall be state legal person and seller of the right of lease of public land plots shall be lease provider. Organizer of electronic auctions shall supply clients with all the necessary information related to auction sales.

Decree No. 611 of the Council of Ministers validating the Regulation on transfer of typical and (or) rare natural landscapes and biotopes under protection of the owners of land plots and (or) waterbodies.

This Decree establishes the modalities of transfer of typical and (or) rare natural landscapes and biotopes under protection of the owners of land plots and (or) waterbodies, forms of certificates of the aforesaid landscapes and biotopes and conservation pledge agreement, and terms and conditions of the issuance thereof. Identification of typical and (or) rare natural landscapes and biotopes shall be performed by specialized and authorized legal person in the process of performing scientific research or monitoring of vegetation.
