The Law regulates land commissions in Latvia. Under the Law, for the co-ordination of work and ensuring of lawfulness of the land reform, the Saeima must establish the Central Land Commission of the Republic of Latvia. For the examination of matters regarding the formation of land ownership and taking decisions, city councils must establish a land commission of the relevant city, and parish councils – a land commission of the relevant parish.

La presente Ley de Ordenación Agraria y Desarrollo Rural, tiene por finalidad mejorar las explotaciones agrarias de la región, reordenando su base territorial e incrementando con ello su rentabilidad en orden al cumplimiento de la función social de la propiedad de la tierra, tendiendo al óptimo uso de ésta y procediendo, cuando sea necesario, a su expropiación y posterior distribución.

La presente Ley declara de interés público en todo el territorio provincial el mantenimiento y restauración de la capacidad productiva de los suelos. Quedan incorporadas al régimen de la presente ley, en lo referente a la aplicación de las técnicas conservacionistas, las áreas comprendidas dentro de los ejidos municipales que por sus características productivas, o por extensión o influencia resulten necesarios, como así las tierras públicas y privadas.

The Decree sets out the general conditions for the transfer of ownership of government lands to the Omani citizens under their personal request. It also sets forth rules with respect to land ownership and land use rights. The conditions for granting residential lands, commercial and industrial lands or agricultural lands are stated in the Decree.The authorities of reference are the Ministry of Land Affairs and the municipalities.

La presente Ley de protección de suelos y control de erosión, tiene por objeto establecer las normas especiales referentes a la protección de suelos y al control de la erosión y la vigilancia del cumplimiento de las mismas por parte del Instituto Nicaragüense de Recursos Naturales y del Ambiente (IRENA). Se declara de Interés Público y Beneficio Social la conservación de los suelos, cualquiera que sea el régimen de propiedad al que se encuentren sometidos.

The present Act, which is composed of 35 Paragraphs, has been adopted to ensure the development of agriculture and forestry by improving the area structure of farms, forests and forest lands, and by adapting borders of immovable properties to the system of water drainage, roads and terrain features. Integration applies to lands placed in one or several villages or their parts. However, it does not apply to lands where mining or industrial plants, historic or architectural monuments, sanctuaries, lands used for fishery or allocated for special purposes exist.

This Act provides generally with respect to compulsory purchase procedure in the United Kingdom. In particular the Act deals with the rights of appeal, and the consequent procedures. The Act applies in all compulsory purchase cases.

The present Regulation enforces the Law on Assignment and Reclamation of Lands in the Islamic Republic of Iran’. In particular, all lands in possession of the government and natural resources land is transferable except for grasslands, forests, national parks and lands of nomad’s migration. The Committee may transfer the lands which are abandoned for five years without any reasonable justification.

This Law consisting of 6 articles specifies how many hectares of land it is possible to own, divided by land types as follows (i) irrigated land; (ii) rain-fed areas with fruit trees; and (iii) rain-fed land. The Law also considers cases in which the indicated limit can be exceeded.
