The Land Code makes provision for the regulation of "land relations" and its purpose is to secure rational use and protection of land, the protection of the environment, and "the equal development of all forms of economic activity in Tajikistan" (Preamble). Other laws regulating land relations may be enacted on the basis of this Code.Land is declared to be in exclusive ownership if the State in article 2.

This Law establishes the principles governing property rights in Armenia. The object of property may be, inter alia, land, bowels of the earth, waters (rivers and lakes) and vegetation and animal life (art. 6). Land is given to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, by property right, for operating an agricultural enterprise, for gardening, for the construction and maintenance of homes as well as other needs provided by law. The order and condition of land allotment, by property right, is determined by the Land Code of the Republic of Armenia (art. 11). (61 articles)

El presente Acuerdo aprueba el Reglamento para la selección y asignación de solicitantes de tierras, que tiene por objeto establecer los procedimientos a que deben someterse las personas solicitantes de tierras (personas físicas o personas jurídicas sin fines de lucro), para el estudio y selección, ya sea para asentamientos campesinos de explotación individual o colectiva.

Article 1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Coefficient rates related to plots of public land shall be set forth by the Regional Government and it shall not exceed maximum rate contained in the Annex to the present Regional Law”.

This Regional Law establishes that local government shall have the authority to make decision on allotment of land plot to natural person in ownership free of charge or to refuse to do so within fifteen days from the date of submittal of application by the person concerned. Minimum land area of the aforesaid plot of land shall be 0, 10 ha and maximum land area shall be 0, 20 ha.

This Decree adds a new 1/A Section to the Basic Text in which the following rules are set forth. Contrary to certain provisions of Section 1 of the Basic Text, the acquisition of real estate by a foreign natural person settling in Hungary as an independent entrepreneur must be authorized pursuant to a separate act, if such property is essential for pursuing the business activities for which the foreign natural person settled. No property intended to be acquired for the purpose of a real estate transaction shall be construed as essential for business activities.

This Act concerns the owners and related rights of those who are holders of the Nindagama lands in Sri Lanka. The Act abolishes services due from any tenant or holder of any Nindagama land to any proprietor thereof (sect. 2). Section 3 declares every tenant or holder of any Ninagama land as the owner of the land. No holder of the land shall be liable to pay compensation to the proprietor thereof for any loss or damage incurred or suffered by the proprietor by reason of the abolition of the services due by such holders of that land (sect. 4).

This Resolution is composed of 7 articles. Article 1 provides for the application of the provisions of the Desert Land Law No. 143 of 1981 and the Law of Auctions and Tenders No. 89 in 1998 to regulate the seizure of the State-owned lands. Articles 2 and 3 deal with requirements, conditions, procedures, steps and documents for the seizure of agricultural, desert, reclaimed lands of the State-owned lands. Article 4 provides for the establishment of specialized committees in the concerned authorities to implement the provisions of this Resolution.
