The purpose of the present Ordinance is to protect and conserve valuable living space and landscape through compliance of ecological requirements in agriculture. In particular, it regulates the financial contributions of the Canton to attain such results. The cultivation, maintenance and use of certain areas shall maintain their characteristic plants. According to article 12 the amount of contributions depends on various factors thereby envisaged. Part 5 deals with details of contracts made for particular cultivations.

These Regulations amend the Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2000 so as to give effect to Directive 2003/105/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, amending Council Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances to which the principal Regulations give effect in Northern Ireland.

This Order establishes that state registration of the plots of forest land within state forest fund shall be carried out by state executive bodies responsible for keeping state forest register. State registration shall be carried out in the following cases: (a) allotment of the plots of forest land within state forest fund; and (b) renewal of lease contracts for the plots of forest land and renewal of free of charge forest management contracts in case of conformation thereof to the Forest Code.

This Order applies to protected areas, in particular to recreational land and land of medicinal localities, spas and health resorts. It shall not apply to state cadastre valuation of urban land, environmental protection land, suburban green belts, land of cultural heritage or tourism, or precious land. State cadastre valuation shall entail: (a) establishing the list of land plots; (b) clustering land plots; (c) designating a reference land plot for each cluster; (d) determining the market value of the reference land plot; and (e) determining the cadastre value of the land plots.

Ministerial Decree No. 384 on valuation of land under forest stock.

This Ministerial Decree establishes that the cadastre value of land under forest stock shall be established according to the forest group, protection category and type of management, and shall be adjusted according to the annual index adjusted for inflation. Cadastre value of land under forest stock shall be used to calculate land charges for plots of forestland allotted for the construction and servicing of gas pipelines, oil pipelines and power supply lines.

This Regulation, made under the Fertilizing Substances Act, makes provision for the implementation of article 5, forth comma of the Council Directive 91/676/EEC concerning the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. It lays down minimum norms for the size of storage capacity for fertilizing substances of animal origin.

Paragraph 2 describes the premises declared to be protected places and no person shall be in those premises unless in possession of a permit or having received permission from an authorized officer. Paragraph 2 also includes a Schedule listing protected places and their location.
