Regional Law No. 106-KZ on the modalities of carrying out land survey.

This Law establishes the particulars of carrying out land survey for the purpose of ensuring rational use and protection of land, creation of favourable environment and improvement of landscape. Land survey envisages: 1) study of the state of land for the purpose of collection of information regarding its quantitative and qualitative state; 2) planning and organization of the rational use and protection of land; 3) carrying out territorial land survey; 4) carrying out intra-economic land survey, including organization of the rational use by citizens and legal persons of the plots of agricultural land, as well as land use planning for the territories managed by the communities of indigenous scanty population for preservation of their traditional way of life. Regional land surveying activity must be carried out on all categories of land irrespectively of the form of property. Land use planning and organization of its rational use and protection on the territory of urban and rural settlements must be carried out in accordance with urban construction documentation. Citizens and legal persons are liable to prosecution in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation for the infringement of the present Law.
