This Act concerns the activities of surveyors in Queensland, it establishes and regulates the operation of the Surveyors Board of Queensland, defines the obligations related to the practice of the profession and provides for the registration of surveyors. The Act is divided into the following parts: Preliminary (1); Surveyors Board of Queensland (2); Registration and registration endorsements (3); Obligations of registrants and other persons (4); Complaints and investigations about registrants’ professional conduct (5); Disciplinary proceedings by QCAT (6); Investigators (7); Review of decisions by QCAT (8); Legal proceedings (10); Miscellaneous (11); Transitional and repeal provisions for Act No. 70 of 2003 (12); Transitional provisions for natural resources and other (13).
