This Act amends the Land Administration Fees Act 1996 by repealing subsection 4(8) and inserting a new section, which concerns a fee payable in respect of the registration of an instrument other than an instrument referred to in subsections 4(1) and 4(7) and in section 6 (except paragraph (f)) of the Act. The fees concerned are those payable: for the registration of an instrument evidencing the following transactions: (a) a transfer of an estate in fee simple; (b) a transfer of a Crown lease; (c) a change or purported change in shareholding referred to in section 55C of the Land Titles Act 1996; for registration of a subdivision proposal under section 49 of the Land Titles Act 1996.
