The Zimbabwe Agenda for Sustainable Socio-Economic Transformation (Zim Asset) is a national development plan for the years 3013-2018 to achieve sustainable development and social equity anchored on indigenization, empowerment and employment creation. Policies will also be put in place to promote contract farming initiatives (para 3.12).The Social Services and Poverty Eradication Cluster (para. 7.2) has programme areas that will be integrated vertically and horizontally with programmes in other Clusters. These areas include indigenization and economic empowerment; access to water and sanitation; access to land and agricultural inputs; and gender mainstreaming.
