The journal also aims to promote scientific articles and productions at the African, regional and global levels. Le pays Bamum est un territoire de la région de l’Ouest Cameroun fondé au XIVe siècle par le roi Nchare. C’est un royaume où le Sultan est le dépositaire des terres. Les allochtones acquièrent le plus souvent des terres auprès des autochtones pour exploitation. Les autochtones n’ont qu’un droit d’usufruitsur les terre qui leurs sont cédées, mais aucun droit de disposer sur celles-ci. Ainsi, les tentatives d’immatriculation de ces terrains se heurtent très souvent au véto des autochtones du fait qu’ils n’ont pas le droit de sécuriser les terres dans un territoire étranger.

Community land and natural resources lie at the heart of social, political and economic life in much of rural Africa. While the Zambian government acknowledges customary tenure, it has not established required legislation needed to secure it and support to communities in their efforts to protect their lands.

To address food insecurity, the Government of Ethiopia embarked on a rapid transformation in the agriculture sector to increase production, productivity, market access and create employment opportunities by promoting large scale agricultural investment projects. However, progress towards achieving set objectives has been rather limited so far due to various challenges. One of the major challenges is that information on commercial farming is outdated and unreliable for decision making.
Innovations in Government and Public Administration of Land in Lagos State
There is increasing awareness that innovations foster inclusive land administration and ease of access to land among citizens but studies exploring innovations in government within the context of developing countries are scanty. This study examines the effect of innovations in government on exploitation of land as a source of wealth, security of rights to land, private land ownership, and supply of information on land-use in Lagos State.
