The above-mentioned Act establishes that the boundary between British Columbia and Alberta consists of the conventional boundary line and the sinuous boundary line as those lines existed on September 25, 1989, and as they are altered from time to time under section 43 of the Constitution Act, 1982. However, a Boundary Commission may be appointed to review the existing boundaries. Part 2 deals with boundaries between British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territories. The text consists of 10 sections divided into 2 Parts.

The present Regulation is made under the Land Title Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to the subdivision of land. Section 1 establishes that the approving officer may refuse to approve the subdivision plan, if he considers that it does not provide access to the land in the subdivision, or lands dependent upon the subdivided property, or land dependent upon the subdivided property for its sole access by means of an adequate road allowance for a frontage road, service road or local street. The text consists of 2 sections.

The present Regulation is made under the Assessment Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down provisions relating to prescribed classes of property. All properties in British Columbia are classified based on land use and the requirements are outlined in the present Regulations. There are nine separate property classifications.

The present Regulation is enacted under the Muskwa Kechika Management Area Act. In particular, the Regulation lays down detailed provisions concerning the Muskwa Kechika Management Area. The text – consisting of 10 chapters – deals with the following aspects: approval of forest development plans, renewable or replaceable agreements and permits, General Management Direction, special resource management zones, protection resource management zones.
