Having in-depth knowledge in modern practices in urban planning like climate change resilience, Smart cities and green urbanism. Profound knowledge in Research methodologies, consultancy, Policy Analysis and environmental management. Highly experienced in qualitative and quantitative research, urban/Land use planning, Participatory Planning, Resettlement Action Planning, Human settlements Planning, Urban Governance, Smart & Eco-cities. I am also a team player and a good communicator with proven ability to effectively develop relationships with Urban planning and development stakeholders. I have worked for the public, private and multinational organizations like universities, consultancy firms and UN-HABITAT in Kenya. I hold an MSc in Urban Management and Development (Specialization: Urban Environment, Sustainability, and Climate Change), from Erasmus University Rotterdam; an MSc in Geo-information Science and Earth Observation (for Urban Planning and Management) from ITC, University of Twente, and a Bachelors in Urban & Regional Planning, from the University of Nairobi.
