I hold a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Uganda Christian University and Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre. I am an enrolled advocate of the High Court of Uganda and all courts sub-ordinate thereto with a great passion for human rights work especially on gender and Women's Land Rights. My 6 years of work experience is cemented on gender equality and legal protection. This is attested to by my work at the Law Development Centre Legal Aid Clinic (LDC-LAC)-a child and women clinic where I worked with paralegal networks to ensure civic education on human rights; The Legal Aid Services Providers Network (LASPNET) where i provided legal support and legl aid to vulnerable communites and consequently The Uganda Land Alliance (ULA) where I am currently the Legal Empowerment Advisor, a position I have served in for the last four years championing gender equity ,equality and gender justice issues at micro, meso and macro levels. Using legal tools to secure land rights of women and men, using the gender evaluation criteria to check responsiveness of land tools - In all these engagements I work with women advocates and male champions who are dully regsitered as associations in their respective districts of operation(Mukono,Luwero,Mbale,Ntungamo,Kibaale, and Pader). I have been pivotal in building the capacity of over 50 rural CSOs and district stakeholders on the GEC and Gender justice in the six districts mentioned above.
