Burundi

Le Burundi est un petit pays enclavé d'Afrique de l'Est, voisin du Rwanda, de la Tanzanie et de la République démocratique du Congo. La superficie totale du Burundi est de 27 840 km², dont 25 680 km² de terre et 2160 km² d'eau. L'histoire coloniale et post-coloniale du Burundi  a été étroitement liée à celle du Rwanda voisin et a été profondément marquée par des périodes de conflits sociaux et de guerre civile, contribuant à l'exode et à l'afflux d'un grand nombre de réfugiés.
