A Confederação Nacional da Agricultura – CNA, foi criada no “Encontro das Organizações da Lavoura e dos Agricultores do Minho, Douro, Trás-os-Montes, Beiras e Delegações de outras Províncias”, realizado a 26 de Fevereiro de 1978, em Coimbra. 

Tem base programática, história, na “Carta da Lavoura Portuguesa”, aí aprovada. De então para cá, é toda uma vida, feita todos os dias, “Sempre com os Agricultores”, como é o seu lema mais afectivo. 

Missão do MASA

Contribuir para uma melhor segurança alimentar e redução da pobreza atravéz do apoio ao sector familiar, ao sector privado, a agências governamentais e não governamentais no sentido de aumentarem a productividade agrícola, agro-indústria e marketing dentro dos princípios de exploração sustentável de recursos naturais.

History

On June 2, 1920, the Canadian Society of Technical Agriculturists was formally launched. The idea of an organization dedicated to the professional aspects of Canadian agriculture caught on and branches quickly formed across the country.

By 1944 the Canadian Society of Technical Agriculturists had evolved into the Agricultural Institute of Canada. Over time, nine provincial institutes of agrologists came on board to administer the formation, recognition and control of professional groups under provincial jurisdiction.
