Ndifuna Ukwazi is an activist organisation and law centre that promotes the realisation of Constitutional Rights and Social Justice – through legal, research and organising support to working class people, communities and social movements. The organistion works to advance urban land justice – that is the protection and promotion of access to affordable, well located housing in Cape Town; building inclusive and sustainable mixed use and mixed income communities; and supporting tenant rights and security of tenure in both private and public housing.

The United States Institute of Peace is an independent national institute, founded by Congress and dedicated to the proposition that a world without violent conflict is possible, practical, and essential for U.S. and global security. USIP pursues this vision on the ground in conflict zones, working with local partners to prevent conflicts from turning to bloodshed and to end it when they do. The Institute provides training, analysis, and other resources to people, organizations, and governments working to build peace.

The Broadening Access and Strengthening Input Market Systems (BASIS) Collaborative Research Support Program (CRSP) carries out and disseminates collaborative, policy-oriented research that addresses rural poverty by making markets work for all. The Economics of Land Degradation (ELD) Initiative is an initiative on the economic benefits of land and land based ecosystems. The initiative highlights the value of sustainable land management and provides a global approach for analysis of the economics of land degradation. It aims to make economics of land degradation an integral part of policy strategies and decision making by increasing the political and public awareness of the costs and benefits of land and land-based ecosystems.

O Centro de Estudos, Articulação e Referência sobre Assentamentos Humanos – CEARAH Periferia – é uma organização não governamental sem fins lucrativos, criada em 1991, que atua principalmente em Fortaleza e Região Metropolitana (CE-Brasil). Filiado à Associação Brasileira de Organizações Não Governamentais (Abong) e membro do Conselho Nacional das Cidades.

A UNMP iniciou sua articulação em 1989 e consolidou-se a partir do processo de coletas de assinaturas para o primeiro Projeto de Lei de Iniciativa Popular que criou o Sistema, o Fundo e o Conselho Nacional por Moradia Popular no Brasil (Lei 11.124/05). Com esta tarefa os movimentos de moradia do Estado do Paraná, São Paulo e Minas Gerais iniciam com objetivo de articular e mobilizar os movimentos de moradia, lutar pelo direito à moradia, por reforma urbana e autogestão e assim resgatar a esperança do povo rumo a uma sociedade sem exclusão social.
