This Act provides with respect to water resources management and water and sanitation in Kiambu County. It establishes two Water Service Providers and defines functions of the Department of Water and Sanitation Services. The Act furthermore concerns, among other things: water services; sustainable management of water resources; water and soil conservation; storm water management; sanitation services; and pollution control.

This Act establishes rules concerning the production, storage, purchase, sale or other transfer, distribution, promotion, import and export of all products intended for fertilizers. These products must comply with quality standards and not have detrimental effects on human, animal or plant health or the environment and shall not constitute a risk to public safety.This Act consists of 4 Chapters: Defining rules for fertilizer and soil conditioners, etc. (1); Administrative provisions (2); Penal Provisions (3); Entry into force (4).

The present Act defines how resource development shall be managed in Nunavut. In particular, the Act: 1) establishes in legislation the continuation of the Nunavut Planning Commission (NPC) and Nunavut Impact Review Board (NIRB) and clearly defines their powers, duties and functions, including how their commissioners/board members are appointed. It also clearly defines the roles and authorities of Inuit, and the federal and territorial government; 2) creates a "single window" approach to the review process.

This Act makes provision for the compulsory acquisition of private land by the state. Part II sets out the procedures for compulsory acquisition of land: Whenever the Minister is satisfied that the need is likely to arise for the acquisition of some particular land under section 6, the Commissioner may cause notice thereof to be published in the Gazette, and shall deliver a copy of the notice to every person who appears to him to be interested in the land (sect. 5).

This Proclamation of the Benishangul Gumz Regional State shall apply to any rural land found in the region. It mainly is concerned with land rights land use and administration of rural lands. Land is declared the common property of the state and people and it shall not be subjected to sale or other means of exchange. Any peasant who legally resides in the region shall have the right to hold land irrespective of gender or any other discrimination. Land administration shall be implemented through community participation. Rural land shall not be expropriated unless to use for public services.

This Act sets conditions for the exercise of land survey activities. In order to fulfill this capacity, a person must be of legal age, is not under bankruptcy, has passed the Danish surveyor exam and has at least 3 years’ experience following the surveying exam, and has participated in the commonly occurring cadastral works by recruitment from a practicing surveyor – either by Survey and Cadastre Authority of the Jutland department or cadastral authority in Copenhagen and Frederiksberg Municipality.

Land reform is aimed at redistribution of land for the purpose of setting up conditions for equal development of different forms of economic activity on land, creation of multiple economic structure, rational use and protection of land on the territory of the RSFSR. In the course of carrying out land reform citizens, enterprises, organizations, departments, associations and companies are allotted plots of land with legal guarantees in accordance with the modalities established by the Russian legislation currently in force.

The Act consists of 115 sections divided into 13 Parts: Preliminary (I); General principles and objectives (II); Environmental impact assessment, audit and monitoring (III); Environmental quality standards (IV); Pollution control and licensing (V); Guidelines and standards for the management of the environment and natural resources (VI); Protection of biodiversity, natural heritage and the ozone layer (VII); Environmental restoration Order (VIII); Inspection, analysis and records (IX); International obligations (X); Information, access, education and public awareness (XI); Offences (XII); M

The Act applies to stone, gravel, sand, clay, lime, chalk, peat, topsoil and similar elements. Exploitation of mineral deposits on land and sea must be part of a sustainable development plan which purpose is to ensure monitoring of mining areas after extraction, raw material supply, ensure that raw materials used are quality based and that raw materials shall be, where possible, replaced by waste products.

The scope of the Act is to regulate the use in agriculture of fertilizing substances and to establish requirements for establishment of plant covers for purposes of limiting the outflow of nitrogen substances. The Act consists is divided into 8 Chapters: Scope of the Act, application sphere (1); fertilizing (2); Plant covers (3); Planning and accounting requirements (4); Suppliers of fertilizing substances (5); Administration of Act (6).The Minister of Agriculture shall establish a register for activities in which substances covered by this Act are involved (sect. 2).
