Who We Are

The Canadian Agricultural Economics Society (CAES) is an association comprised of individuals with a professional interest in topics related to the economics of agriculture, food, natural resources, and the environment. CAES members include economists and other social science professionals in universities, government, non-government agencies and the private sector, and undergraduate and graduate students. CAES members include Canadians and others, in Canada and elsewhere.

Food Products Press is a publishing company.

MARDI is a statutory body which has been mandated to conduct research in agriculture, food and agro-based industries. MARDI research endeavors for almost 40 years had fruitfully generated many new crop varieties and clones, animal breeds and its management practices. Cutting edge technologies in food processing and post-harvest handling are also developed for horticultural and livestock products. ICT technologies are being exploited in farm management and operations such as “precision farming” technology for rice estate, and yield estimation, using the imaging technology.

IFAMA is dedicated to the mission of enabling the global agribusiness community to provide adequate and nutritious food to the world by creating connections between academics,students, agribusiness, and other organizations to solve the critical management issues that face the industry today and in the future. The international Nyéléni newsletter is the voice of the international movement for Food Sovereignty. Its main goal is to strengthen the grassroots of the movement, by providing accessible material on key issues and creating a space - for individuals and organisations involved in the struggle - to exchange their experiences and share information.

La Estrategia Nacional: Gobernanza Territorial Incluyente y Sostenible para la Seguridad Alimentaria en Guatemala, es el resultado de un proceso de consulta y debate en torno a la problemática agraria, el desarrollo rural, la seguridad y soberanía alimentaria en nuestro país. Esfuerzos similares se están produciendo en otras regiones y países, como expresión de la preocupación y la movilización mundial ante el acaparamiento de tierras y bienes de la naturaleza por parte de grandes empresas.

Active in Angola since 1989, World Vision Angola is currently undergoing an emergency response to alleviate the deepening food security crisis and save the lives of malnourished children under 5 in South West Angola. 

Phuhlisani began as a consultancy started by a group of people who wanted to support emerging farmers who obtained access to land through land reform programmes in South Africa. In 2015, after 12 years in operation as a Closed Corporation, the members of the company decided to convert Phuhlisani to a Non-Profit Company which took place in October 2015.
