The webinar on the Gender Imperatives of Land Reforms in Kenya took place on 23 April, 2019.

This webinar featured key experts involved in promoting and working towards the gender imperatives of land reforms in Kenya. It was co-hosted by the European Union, the Government of Kenya, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations and the Land Portal Foundation.

Le Plan de Développement Économique et Social (PDES) 2017-2021 est un plan quinquennal de l’opérationnalisation de la Stratégie de Développement Durable et de Croissance Inclusive (SDDCI) Niger 2035 adoptée par le Gouvernement le 9 mai 2017. Son objectif est de contribuer à bâtir un pays pacifique, bien gouverné avec une économie émergente et durable, et une société fondée sur des valeurs d’équité et de partage des fruits du progrès. Spécifiquement, il vise à renforcer la résilience du système de développement économique et social.

The overall aim of the National Land Policy is to promote and ensure a secure land tenure system, to encourage the optimal use of land resources, and to facilitate broad-based social and economic development without upsetting or endangering the ecological balance of the environment. The specific objectives of this National Land Policy are to: promote an equitable distribution of and access to land by all citizens; ensure that existing rights in land especially customary rights of smallholders (i.e.
