De conformidad con lo dispuesto en la presente Ley, todos los títulos de reforma agraria, provisionales o definitivos, entregados a los asignatarios del proceso de reforma agraria serán considerados como el instrumento que les otorga la propiedad de la tierra y el derecho de poder ejercer la plena disposición del dominio y posesión; en consecuencia, dichos asignatarios podrán vender, traspasar o heredar (art. 2º). Todos estos títulos deberán ser inscritos ante los registradores de la propiedad inmueble, so pena de que toda transacción relativa a las tierras en cuestión se consideren nulas.

This Act makes provision for a wide variety of matters relative to tenure of and transactions regarding land for which a certificate of title was issued.The certificate of title of lands to which this Act applies shall be issued by the registrar of Titles in the form as set out in the Second Schedule to this Act.

Land Adjudication Act (Act No. 16 of 1975).

This Act sets out the procedures, principles and criteria for the adjudication of land in an area declared to be an adjudication area by Order of the Minister made under this Act. The Act also declares all waste and unoccupied land to be Crown land.The Minister shall appoint an Adjudication Officer who shall be in charge of the adjudication of land in the area. Every person claiming an interest in land in the adjudication area shall observe the procedures and criteria as laid down in this Act.

This Act directs the Registrar of Titles to make a new register of titles for Dominica. This Act applies only in cases where certificates of title which were registered in the old register have been destroyed. The Act contains rules relative to (application for) registration and evidence of title. The Act also provides for the lodging of caveats for the establishment of interests in land other than freehold and certain leaseholds.

This Act provides for recognition and protection of titles in land, administration of land, use of land for public purposes, the land court and adjudication and various other matters relating to land.The Act consists of 170 sections divided into 10 Parts: General (I); Administration (II); Hereditary estates (III); Tax and town allotments (IV); Tongan leases (V); Mortgages (VI); The Foreshore (VII); Registration of title (VIII); Land for public purposes (IX); The Land Court (X).Section 3 declares all land of Tonga to be property of the Crown.

Kelantan Land Settlement Act, 1955 (No. 460)

This Act contains rules relating to revision of registers of lands. In accordance with section 3, the Ruler in Council is entitled to declare any area falling within the State of Kelantan to be a Settlement Area. Such declaration shall be notified in the Gazette. Persons interested may appear to submit their claims: section 4 regulates in particular recording of claims; section 16 concerns appeals to the District Officer and, as the case may be, to the High Court. The Act consists of 17 sections.

This Act amends the Land Development Ordinance 1935 which aimed to provide for the systematic development and alienation of State Land in Sri Lanka. Under the amendements, the Government Agent shall not recover any fee for the registration of a permit (sect. 2). Every grant on which land is to be alienated shall contain the extent and description of the boundaries of such land.
