The Land and Marine Management Strategy for Grenada is a national strategy adopted by the Government of Grenada in 2011 to guide the management of the land and marine sector. The overall goal of the Strategy is to achieve integrated national development that is environmentally sustainable. The instrument seeks to develop a coherent framework with an appropriate set of strategies that will foster productive and optimal utilization of land, freshwater, coastal and marine resources in an environmental sustainable manner.

This Decree establishes maximum allowable limits of concentration of total amount of quicksilver and arsenic in soil of different categories: (a) inhabited areas; (b) industrial areas; (c) transport and engineering infrastructure land; (d) recreational land; (e) agricultural land; (f) special purpose land; and (g) other territories. Annex 1 contains the list of chemicals and authorized concentration limits’ indices.

By this Decree, the rules were approved regarding permit for process engineering and agricultural activities in lands affected by landslide, flood, erosion, wind erosion, land subsidence, abrasion and volcanic mud as well as in wetlands. This Decree states that the State Committee of Geology and Mineral Resources shall be the authorized body for assessment of exposure and monitoring of exogenous geological processes and shall take measures against them.

Cet arrêté de l'Exécutif flamand assure l'application du décret du 23 janvier 1991 relatif à la protection de l'environnement contre la pollution due aux engrais. Il est formé par 49 articles divisés en 11 chapitres dont les plus importants sont: Déclaration (II).

This Regional Law establishes that maximum land plot area of agricultural land allotted for farming shall not exceed 30 ha, while minimum land plot area allotted for farming shall vary from 0,25 ha to 2,7 ha depending upon availability of agricultural land and decision by local self-government.

The Medium Term Development Program is a multi-sectoral national Program of the Kyrgyz Republic covering the period of 2012-2014. The main goal of the Program is to increase living standard of the population and poverty alleviation based on economic growth, improvement of business environment and development of the efficient governance system.

This Order establishes that the Instruction shall be applicable to: (a) formation of new plot of land; (b) change of land area or of the boundaries of the plot of land; (c) change of the type of authorized land management; and (d) transfer of a plot of land from one category to another. Land shall be classified in three categories: (1) agricultural land; (2) protected areas; and (3) land of water resources. Cadastre value of the first category shall be calculated by multiplication of average cadastre value of land at the municipal level by land area.

The Law provides for the application of taxes on lands on which have been carried out interventions financed wholly or partly by State funds (road building, water or electricity supplies, etc. etc.) that improved them. The rate tenants or owners have to pay is calculated as 50% of market value increase for that parcel of land.As far as the decisions of the board are concerned, article 6 establishes that the chairman of the board shall inform the Settlement Officer of the decision taken in respect of every application.

This document lays down the Strategic Plan for Environment and Development (SPED), which was adopted by Malta following the introduction of Directive 2014/89/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a framework for maritime spatial planning. The SPED provides the spatial framework that supports the development of an integrated maritime policy at a national level.

The Ninth Development Plan is a national plan with a sectoral approach covering the period 2007–2013. The main objectives of the Plan are: a) increasing competitiveness, b) increasing employment, c) strengthening human development and social solidarity, d) ensuring regional development, e) increasing quality and effectiveness in public services. The Plan also aims at protecting the environment and improving urban infrastructure, making agricultural structures more efficient and promoting the development of rural areas.Food security is among the specific objectives of the Plan.

The National Gender and Children Policy is a national multi-sectoral policy for Ghana which was developed by the Ministry of Women and Children’s Affairs with the objective to mainstream gender concerns in the national development process in order to improve the social, civic, economic and cultural conditions of the people of Ghana, particularly women and children.
