Cooperation between Ghana and FAO began when the country joined the Organization in 1957, and one year later the FAO Regional Office for Africa was established in Accra. Since then, FAO has been working closely with the Government, providing a broad range of support to the national food and agricultural development agenda.

Cooperation between Togo and FAO began with an inventory of land and water resources in 1960, the year Togo country joined the Organization. A representation was opened in 1980, after which the partnership focused on agricultural development, environmental protection and natural resource management.

This case study estimates the GHG impacts from the implementation of an agricultural development project supported by USAID in Zambia. It identifies the magnitude of a larger set of GHG impacts and compares GHG impact strength of different field activities and cropping systems.

On 7 November, a UN-REDD-hosted side event looked at how to improve delivery on reference levels and results reporting through South-South collaboration between REDD+ countries, with several representatives providing accounts of their current national activities.
