Order No. 520 on subsidies for Natura2000 projects of clearing overgrown areas for the preparation of pasture.

The Order aims to provide subsidy to clear overgrown areas which need preparation for grazing in order to ensure improvement of conservation of habitats and species in specifically designated areas set out by Natura2000. The Danish AgriFish Agency shall allocate 33 million DKK of subsidy for non-productive investments in the following areas: 1) clearing of overgrowth, including clearing of trees and removal of cleared plant material. Projects to be implemented in especially allocated Natura2000 areas of deforestation; 2) areas preparing for grazing.

These Regulations reserved lands as a lay or common for the pasturage of animals. The number and kind of animals that may be pastured at any time on any of the lands by any individual owner shall be determined by the Council Committee. The Chief Agricultural and Natural Resources Officer may at his or her discretion order any animal that is aged or unsuitable for breeding to be removed from the lands or diseased animals to be treated.

Høgfjells in North Gudbrandsdal is an area allocated for lamb seasonal grazing. Lamb production from there encompasses municipalities of Dovre, Lesja, Lom, Oppland, Skjåk and Lom. A significant portion of this grazing area should be higher than 800 m. within said geographical landmark. Lambs shall be released for pasture as soon as grazing in this mountainous area is considered to be satisfactory (cows will graze for a minimum of 11 weeks in pastures located over 800 meters).

These Rules, made in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 19(1) and 53(2)(a) of the Crofting Reform (Scotland) Act 2010, provide for the compilation, keeping and protection of the Crofting Register and rule 4 provides for public access to it. It also prescribes forms for applications for registration of crofts and common grazings in the Register.

Regulation to the Community Rights Law with Respect to Forest Lands.

This Regulation of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA) implements provisions of the Community Rights Law of 2009 with Respect to Forest Lands ("Community Rights Law"), and determines the rules, guidelines and procedures for the establishment of forest communities and to access, manage, use and the benefits of forest resources within the Republic of Liberia, and participation by communities in the reforestation, rehabilitation and conservation of forest and wildlife resources in Liberia.

This Ordinance empowers the Council Committee to order in writing the owner or occupier of land to undertake or adopt such measures as they may deem necessary for the conservation of natural resources on such land and the prevention of injury to the natural resources on other land. Such Order may be made for prohibiting, regulating or controlling, among other things: (a) the breaking or clearing of land for the purposes of cultivation; (b) the grazing or watering of livestock; (c) the firing, clearing or destruction of vegetation; or (d) afforestation of deforestation.

These Rules provide for the protection of land of which the slope exceeds a specified percentage. Cultivation, grazing, destruction of vegetation on such land without an authorization of the authorized officer shall be an offence. The soil shall be adequately protection against erosion by conservation works. Other offences defined by these Rules include grazing of livestock or destruction of vegetation near a watercourse and use of channel, ditch or drainage way which has been constructed for the removal of run-off water, for other purposes.

Presidential Decree No. 2/12 approving the Development Plan for the Province of Huíla.

This Presidential Decree approves the mid-term Development Plan 2009-2013 for the Province of Huíla (in the Annex). The above mentioned Plan specifies the projects prescribed by the General Budget of 2012 under the Development Programme of this Province. Moreover, this Plan establishes priority projects to be assessed and eventually implemented and treated in coordination with the executive central services.

This Act makes provision for the application for and granting of a right of pasturage, i.e. a right to depasture and water horses or cattle on any land which is not enclosed by a cattle proof fence. The executive member may grant to any person an annual right of pasturage for such number of horses or head of cattle as he or she determines. Cattle or horses for which the right of pasturage is granted shall be marked and a register of numbered cattle or horses shall be kept by the executive member. Certain animals may not to be depastured.

This Act provides for the registration of fences and provides with respect to trespass on land of cattle and other animals. Fences, whether artificial or natural, may be registered with the Registrar of Lands. Where the Registrar is satisfied that the fence would no longer effectively exclude trespass on land by quiet cattle and horses, the Registrar shall cancel the registration. An action of trespass can be lodged only if land is protected by a registered fence.
