Essuatíni é uma das poucas monarquias absolutas sobreviventes no mundo. Anteriormente conhecido como Suazilândia, o nome do país foi mudado para Essuatínipelo Rei Mswati III em abril de 2018.  Essuatíni é um pequeno país sem litoral de 17.364 km² com uma população de 1,2 milhões de pessoas e uma densidade de 63 pessoas/km². Apesar de seu pequeno tamanho, contém quatro zonas agro-ecológicas. Compartilha fronteiras com a África do Sul e Moçambique.
