La presente Ley modifica, entre otros, los siguientes artículos del Decreto Ley Nº 701 de 1974 sobre fomento forestal, cuyo texto fue reemplazado mediante el Decreto Ley Nº 2.565 de 1979. El objeto de la ley es regular la actividad forestal en suelos de aptitud preferentemente y en suelos degradados e incentivar la forestación, en especial, por parte de los pequeños propietarios forestales y aquélla necesaria para la prevención de la degradación, protección y recuperación de los suelos del territorio nacional (art. 1º).

La présente loi est formée de quatre titres: Budget (I), Charges des Régions (II), Ressources (III), Comptabilité (IV). The declared (sect. 3) objects of the Act are: ensuring effective and ecologically sustainable management of forest resources; promotion of a sustainable commercial timber industry, and; protection and conservation of forest resources, habitats and ecosystems including the maintenance of ecological processes and genetic diversity. The administration of matters affecting forests is entrusted to Commissioner of Forests appointed under section 6 and the Minister who shall be advised by the Solomon Forestry Board established under section 5.

This Act, governing forestry contains, after amendments made to it, virtually all statute law relating to forestry in the Great Britain. The provisions of the Act concentrate almost exclusively on forestry administration and related matters and the powers of an authority here continued, the Forestry Commissioners, to control felling. The Commissioners, established by the 1919 Forestry Act, are charged with the general duty of promoting the interests of Forestry, with the development of afforestation and the production and supply of timber and other forest products in Great Britain (sect.

This Act lays down the basic principles of forest management and conservation, makes provision for the administration of forestry (Chap. I), the survey and classification of lands for purposes of forestry (Chap. II), and the use of forest resources (Chap. III).Basic policy principles are outlined in section 2. The Ministry of Finance now issues guidelines for provision of credits from the State for programmes and projects for use of bare land, degraded hills, forests, alluvial flats, and water bodies within the framework of Decision 327-CT and according to duly approved annual plans: Funds from the State budget are to be provided in the form of credits for basic construction and for non-commercial economic purposes for programmes and projects for the use of bare land, degraded hills, forests, riverine and coastal alluvial flats, and water bodies.

The purpose of this Law, which includes 21 articles and 1 supplementary article in 4 sections, is the placement of villagers within forests who are decided to be transferred and to support the development of the forest villagers through the utilization of the areas excluded from forest. This Law consists of the following areas excluded from forest boundaries by the Forest Cadastre Commissions in accordance with Article 2 of the Forest Law No.

The present Regulations implement, for Scotland, changes made to Council Directive 85/337/EC, implemented by the 1998 Regulations, made by Council Directive 97/11/EC. They also implement the extension of both Directives to the Contracting Parties of the European Economic Area (EEA) under Article 74 and Annex XX paragraph I.1 of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, as given effect by Decision No.20/1999 of the EEA Joint Committee adopted on 26th February 1999.

This Regulation is based on article 21 of Act No. 2924 dated 17 October 1983 and sets forth procedures and principles for providing support to forest villagers whose villages would be moved.Villages where development activities could not be achieved in their present locations and those that should be moved due to soil-water regime, health, military purposes, tourism and forestry will be determined jointly by the local organizations of the Ministry of Forestry, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, General Directorate of Forestry and General Directorate of Rural Services.

This Act regulates interventions in matter of better exploitation of the soil, of the environment and of agri-sylvipastoral resources. For this purpose there shall be a rational selvicultural management, the improvement of biological balances and the prevention of hydrogeological disasters.

This Circular of the Department of Environment, Forests and Wildlife to Forest Secretaries of all States and other territories concerns the involvement of village communities and voluntary agencies for regeneration of degraded forest lands. The National Forest Policy envisages it as one of the essentials of forest management that the forest communities should be motivated to identify themselves with the development and protection of forests from which they derive benefits.
