The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2001/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 June 2001 on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programmes on the environment. The text consists of 28 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Purpose and organization of land use planning (I); Town and country planning (II); Safeguard and implementation of land use planning (III); Transitional and final provisions (IV).

Within the framework of the Federal Land Use Planning Act of 22 December 2008 (BGBl. I p. 2986), the present Law regulates land use planning in the Saarland. The whole Saarland shall be subject to a sustainable planning policy. The text, consisting of 14 articles, deals with the following aspects: tasks of land use planning, land use planning authorities, land development plan, drawing up of the land development plan; environmental assessment, conservation of plan; special proceedings ; safeguard and implementation of land use plan, compensation and transitional and final provisions.

This Law, consisting of 22 articles, provides for agricultural soil preservation within the State of Paraná. The agricultural land is a National Patrimony and, consequently, it is under the responsibility of the State, the rightful owners, the temporary occupants and the community to preserve it, exercising in it the right of ownership or temporary possession with the limitations established in this agricultural land code of use. The use of agricultural land will only be allowed through land use planning, according to its capacity through the use of appropriate technology.

This Regulation 739 of 2017 amends and supplements Regulation 725 of 2015 regarding the organization and functioning of the Territory Development Agency. The changes include: appointment and termination of the General Director of the Agency by the Prime Minister; replacement of the integrated territory registry with the electronic permits system; and exercise of several ministerial functions by the Prime Minister.

The Rural Land Use Policy for Fiji is a national policy with a multi-sectoral approach. The general principle of this Policy is to determine responsibilities of the State, landowners and land users in the fields of sustainable rural development, land management, protection of natural resources, having regard to biophysical, cultural, social and commercial factors.Technical, institutional and legal framework will be strengthened and assessment will be carried out on agricultural land, pastures and forests to ensure efficient land use.

This Decree makes several changes in Articles 4 and 5 regarding electronic registration systems and repeals Article 3 and Paragraphs 2, 3 and 4 of Article 4. Furthermore this Decree amends Paragraph 1 of Article 4, which now reads “The reports include information on the quantity, quality and land use characteristics of lands (including irrigated land plots), as well as land ownership, use and lease."
