About

The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM), established by ten Vice Chancellors in 2004, is a consortium of 55 African universities operating within 22 countries spanning the African continent. RUFORUM is coordinated by a Secretariat hosted by Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. The organisation evolved from its predecessor, the Forum on Agricultural Resource Husbandry (FORUM) program of the Rockefeller Foundation.

L’objectif d’Inter-réseaux est de contribuer à créer les conditions pour que les acteurs engagés dans le développement agricole et rural puissent agir dans leurs environnements en faveur des populations rurales et d’une agriculture durable basée sur l’exploitation familiale.

Pour atteindre cet objectif, Inter-réseaux intervient et apporte ses compétences par trois missions complémentaires :

L’association pour la redynamisation de l’élevage au Niger (AREN) est créée avec l’émergence  des organisations de la société civile, le 19 juillet 1990 et a obtenu son arrêté de reconnaissance n° 20/DAPJ/MI le 14 février 1991.

Vision:

La vision de AREN  est celle « d’un monde où les éleveurs pasteurs sont respectés comme tous les autres citoyens, leur contribution à l’économie nationale est reconnue et soutenue, leur activité est sécurisée ».

The World Rural Forum (WRF) is a plural network that works in favour of family farming and sustainable rural development, composed of farmers’ federations, rural organizations and agriculture research centres from five continents.

O Instituto Nacional de Colonização e Reforma Agrária, Incra, é uma autarquia federal cuja missão prioritária é executar a reforma agrária e realizar o ordenamento fundiário nacional.

Criado pelo Decreto nº 1.110, de 9 de julho de 1970, atualmente o Incra está implantado em todo o território nacional por meio de 30 superintendências regionais.

La Reunión Especializada de Agricultura Familiar del MERCOSUR (REAF) es un espacio de encuentro entre productores familiares, organizaciones e instituciones rurales de la región, funciona desde 2004 con el objetivo de generar un marco de políticas públicas regionales para la agricultura familiar.

The South African Land Observatory is an initiative whose overall objective is to promote evidence-based and inclusive decision-making over land resources in South Africa. As its name ‘Observatory’ suggests, it collects data and information on land. The initiative is a repository of what is published on land in South Africa and on the events that take place around land in South Africa.
