The present Act is also referred to as Natural Resources Transfer Agreement (N.R.T.A.). In particular, the purpose of the present Agreement is to transfer control over Crown lands and natural resources to the Province of Alberta. The text consists of 2 sections and 1 Schedule containing the Agreement between the government of Canada and the government of the Province of Alberta.

The present Act encourages private landowners, conservation organizations and governments to protect ecologically sensitive lands and natural areas through voluntary agreements.

This Act amends: (a) the Soil Protection Act in various provisions in relation with the making of Orders and by inserting new sections 12A and 12B concerning the regulation by Order of the use of construction materials and dredging mud in the subsoil and a certain discretionary power of competent authorities to decide to grant exemptions from certain restrictions; (b) the Environment Protection by amending in section 1 the definition of “useful application”; and (c) the Act on Pollution of Surface Waters in section 2A in relation with the making of Orders and in section 2C concerning the ap

La presente Ley introduce el marco normativo relativo a todas las acciones, actividades, programas y proyectos destinados a preservar, proteger, defender, mejorar y restaurar el medio ambiente, la biodiversidad, el patrimonio genético, los recursos naturales, el patrimonio cultural y los monumentos naturales en el marco de desarrollo sustentable en la Provincia de Salta. Entre los principios de la política ambiental provincial se incluyen los siguientes: (a) principio de precaución; (b) principio de gradualismo; (c) principio de participación; (d) principio contaminador pagador.

These Regulations make provision for the leasing of land for the purpose of rock oyster farming.The Regulations prescribe the procedures for applying for leases, the granting of leases, and the form of leases, and the conditions that are to be implied in all leases.The Regulations further prescribe matters relating to the management of rock oyster farms and the steps to be taken when rock oysters in an oyster farm become diseased or contaminated.

The present Code of practice provides for the beneficial use of specified industrial by-products on land. Moreover, the Code provides consistent requirements across the province and protects the quality of soil as well as the surface and groundwater on sites where the by-products are applied. As of September 1, 2007 a discharger must complete and submit a notification form at least 30 days prior to a proposed soil amendment application greater than 5m3.

El presente Decreto reglamenta los artículos 27, 28 y 29 de la Ley Ambiental Provincial, relativos a la adopción de normas técnicas ambiental que fijen los límites máximos permisibles para el el vuelco, descarga o inyección de efluentes contaminantes a las masas superficiales y subterráneas de aguas, a la atmósfera y al suelo.

The purpose of this Law is the prevention and control of pollution caused by large industrial plants. The Law provides for measures to prevent pollution; when preventing is not possible, the Law aims at reducing emissions to air, water and soil and prescribes waste management measures, as well as the rational use of natural resources and energy to achieve a high level of environmental protection.

An Act to set new environmental policy standards by giving water and soil associations new rural management duties. Moreover, associations can promote cooperation between water management and agriculture while further developing the protection of water, soil and nature. Finally, the associations can be assigned tasks within the framework of set-aside land. The Act grants the associations a far-reaching right to self-administration as, for instance, the power to issue by-laws; furthermore, association may be established also by a decision of its members and not only ex-officio.

Article 2 of the above/mentioned Act establishes that the lessor shall notify the conclusion of a lease contract without delay to to competent authority, as well as of any modification of such a contract.

This Act: provides for the establishment of localities and local authorities; provides for functioning of local authorities; defines functions and powers of local councils and councillors; and establishes the Local Government Service Commission, the Local Government Finance Committee and the Inter-Ministerial Committee on Decentralization.Localities are established by this Act or, pursuant to this Act, by the President. A locality shall be administered by a local council which shall be a body corporate.

This Ordinance sets forth the updated version of the Code of Good Agricultural Practice. The creation of this Code comes along with the implementation of Council Directive 91/676/EEC on the protection of waters against pollution caused by nitrates from agricultural sources. The Code has the aim of promoting guidelines able to assist farmers to reduce water pollution caused by fertilizers from agricultural sources and to prevent further such pollution and to set the acceptable environmental conditions for the use of urban waste water for irrigation purposes.
