Head of the Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service orders to validate the Regulation on territorial inspection of State Geodetic Survey. The present Regulation determines status, the main tasks and sphere of competence of the territorial inspection of state geodetic survey attached to Federal Geodetic and Cartographic Service. The main tasks of the inspection are: 1. observance by all the parties involved in geodetic and cartographic activity on the delimited territory of the established modalities of carrying out activity and regulations; 2.

The objective of this Act is to organize a national information service concerning real estate and other units of land and water areas based on information technology. This service is implemented by means of a centralized Land Information System which is intended for public use. The Land Information System comprises data referred to in the Cadastre Register Act (392/1995) and data entered into the land register as well as other data as laid down in other legislation.

This Act consisting of 66 sections divided into eight Parts and completed by one Schedule, provides for the registration of land boundary surveyors and for the regulation of the practice of land boundary surveying.

The present Decision provides for the approval of the Action Plan on the conservation and sustainable development of submerged areas in the 2004-2010 period, aiming at the protection, rehabilitation and social community awareness relating to the wetlands and its possible environmental, economic, social and biodiversity potential.

The present Law also amends new articles of the Village Law of 1924, the Law on Natural Disasters 1959, and the Tourism Incentives Act of 1982. The formation of the technical teams is re-defined. The in-forest pastures and grazelands are re-defined by a committee set up by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry and cannot be used for any other purposes unless their allocation purposes are modified.

The present Decision provides for the approval of the Land Use Planning and for the development of industrial, touristic, infrastructural and housing projects in order to rehabilitate, recuperate and develop unused, public, agricultural and urban lands.

The Regulation provides for the registration and licensing mandatory to conduct geodesic and cartographic activities.

The present Regional Law lays down legal basis for carrying out state policy in the field of land survey, coordination and control over activity of all organizations of any organizational and legal form, as well as of citizens engaged in individual entrepreneurial activity in the sphere of land survey.
