This Law refers to a strategy on tourism development which is to be proposed by the Ministry of Tourism and approved by the Council of Ministers. On the basis of the strategy, urban planning studies are to be carried out for the identification of zones to be promoted for tourism.A Tourism Development Committee made up of representatives of various ministries may approve applications for activities to be promoted.

Directive No. 18/1999/CT-TTg on a number of measures to step up the completion of granting agricultural, forest and rural land-use right certificates by the year 2000.

The Prime Minister directs the General Director of Land Administration and the presidents of the People's Committees of local entities to implement the Prime Minister's Directive No. 10/1998/CT-TTg in order to step up the granting of land-use certificates and to complete this by the end of 2000. The Directive also contains some rules relative recognition of title, exemption from fees, use of local funds, granting of temporary certificates in urban areas, and payment of levies and taxes.

This Resolution is concerned with the development of various aspects of farming. These aspects include land allocation, production planning, water conservancy, water supply, knowledge of the market, management skills and techniques, etc. The Resolution outlines the basic features of the present farm economy and the general policy of the State towards farm economy and policy relative to a specific aspect, i.e. land policy, tax policy, investment policy, labour policy regarding technological and scientific development, market policy, and a farm assets protection policy.

These Regulations implement, in relation to town and country planning, roads and drainage works in Scotland, Council Directive 85/337/EC on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. They revoke and re-enact, with amendments, the relevant Parts of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Regulations 1988. The main changes made by Directive 97/11/EC, which these Regulations implement, are as follows. The number of categories of project subject to environmental impact assessment (EIA) is increased.

These regulations implement in Northern Ireland Council Directive 97/11/EC of the 3rd March 1997 on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment, in respect of those proposals to construct new roads and to improve roads to which the Directive The Department is required to determine the need to carry out an environmental assessment in respect of projects falling within Annex II of the amended Directive in accordance with a case-by-case examination or thresholds or criteria set by it taking account in any event of the relevant selection criteria set

Article 2 of and the Schedule to this Order provide that applications for planning permission for development need not be published in the press in accordance with Article 21(1) of the Planning (Northern Ireland) Order 1991 where that development is: (a) of a class specified in the Schedule; and (b) not in a conservation area.. Article 3 of this Order revokes the Planning Applications (Exemption from Publication) Order (Northern Ireland) 1991.

These Regulations are concerned with the implementation of Article 12 of Council Directive 96/82/EC on the control of major-accident hazards involving dangerous substances. The main provisions of Article 12 of the Directive are the requirement to ensure that the objectives of preventing major accidents and limiting their consequences are taken into account in land-use planning policies and that these objectives are pursued through controls.

These Rules regulate the procedure to be followed for hearings in England caused by the Secretary of State to be held before he or an inspector determines appeals made to him in relation to planning permission, listed building consent and consent for the demolition of unlisted buildings in conservation areas. Rule 4 provides for the preliminary procedure to be followed, in particular the information to be provided by a local planning authority, on receipt by it of a notice that a hearing is to be held.
