This Regulation implements provisions of the Proclamation of The Southern Nations, Nationalities And Peoples Regional State on rural land rights and use. It applies to all types of rural land and lands used for agricultural purposes in urban territory.
This Decree establishes the modalities of keeping State forest register, State land-use planning register, State register of waste disposal sites and State cartographic and mapping register. State forest register shall be the system of constantly updated reliable information on forests, legal status thereof, quantitative and qualitative characteristics of forests and economic assessment thereof. State land-use planning register shall be the system of constantly updated reliable information on territory, development and engineering, transport and social infrastructure.

A Decree to promote tree planting, regeneration and protection of forests among people in order to increase and enrich forest areas in Lao PDR. This Regulation of the Forestry Development Authority (FDA), made National Forestry Reform Law of 2006 concerns sound approach to forest land use planning to maximize the benefits of forest land allocation to Liberian society as a whole.
