This Decree aims at compliance with sanitary and phytosanitary regulations, protection of plant species, efficient use of green areas and prevention of soil degradation. It sets forth principles and procedures of restoration, expansion, creation and improvement of green areas. The Decree shall not apply to green areas in forest lands, private lands, protected areas and in agricultural land.

This Ministerial Order, consisting of 4 articles and eleven Annexes (I-A to I-M), establishes the formal Recognition of Traditional Sucos and Indigenous Villages existing in the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. The Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste recognizes the existence of 451 Sucos and 2,233 Villages, whose designation and location in the national territory is included in Annex I-A to Annex I-M to this Ministerial Order. Annexes specify Administrative Areas; Sucos and related Villages.

This study explored local governments' efforts of land use coordination in the disaster affected rural areas of Miyagi, taking Suginoshita district and Yamamoto eastern district as a study area. This Decree sets the provisions aimed to categorize and to be considered when approving the interventions and works not subject to mandatory landscape authorization, the interventions that can be requested with simplified authorization procedure, some specific obligations for particular categories of intervention (as listed and classified in the Annex).The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

This Order, which applies in England only, makes provisions in relation to permission in principle. Permission in principle and its effect are described in sections 58A, 59A and 70(2ZZA) to (2ZZC) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. The planning register kept by each local planning register authority must also include, as Part 2A, a part relating to permission in principle.
