Article 1 of this Decree determines the cases in which a soil conservation plan must be elaborated. General requisites of content of the plans are laid down in Annex 1, while detailed and technical requisites are determined in Annex 2. In certain cases a simplified plan may be presented in conformity with Annex 3 to this Decree. According to Article 4 pedological characteristics contained in plans shall be registered by the soil conservation authority in the pedological database.

These Regulations amend the Land Surveyors (Fees for Survey of State Lands) by revoking and replacing the Schedule, which specifies fees for surveys, including the survey of an agricultural site.

These Regulations amend the Assured Tenancies and Agricultural Occupancies (Forms) Regulations 1997 in consequence of the Welfare Reform Act 2012 (c. 5) and insert references in those forms to universal credit.

The Regulation provides for all necessary standards and measure aimed to determine the pollutants of the agricultural land (on the territory of the Croatian Republic), their maximum levels in the soil, measures to prevent the pollution of land and control of pollution, in order to protect the land from pollution and degradation and to maintain the state which makes it a favorable habitat for the production of safe food, for the protection of human health, animal and plant life, and offer protection of nature and environment.

This Regulation prescribes rules governing the correct valuation (Capability Evaluation) of agricultural land, that can be classified in the category of particularly valuable (P1) or valuable arable agricultural land (P2).Mandatory requirements for a correct evaluation are related to the values of the soil, climate conditions, terrain, and other natural conditions for agricultural production and for the prevision of its potential volume.The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Mediante este Decreto se establece el mecanismo de recuperación de áreas de suelos agropecuarios degradados de pequeñas propiedades y propiedades comunitarias o colectivas con la finalidad de mejorar la salud y capacidad productiva de los suelos a nivel nacional, para garantizar la producción y la seguridad alimentaria con soberanía. Se crea el Programa de Recuperación de Suelos (PRORESU) bajo dependencia del Viceministerio de Tierras, como mecanismo de recuperación de áreas agropecuarias degradadas.
