Article 12.1 shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the protected areas of regional significance, managed by state institutions, state supervision in the sphere of protection and management of protected areas shall also be performed by the officials of the aforesaid institutions that have the status of state environmental inspectors”.

La presente Ley aprueba el Plan Regional para el Desarrollo de la Región Interoceánica y el Plan General de Uso, Conservación y Desarrollo del Área del Canal, como instrumentos de ordenamiento territorial de la región interoceánica, para que sirvan como marco normativo a la incorporación de los bienes revertidos al desarrollo nacional, para las zonificaciones y usos del suelo en la región interoceánica que realicen los entes gubernamentales y los particulares.

Las presentes disposiciones regulan el manejo de lodos provenientes de plantas de tratamiento de aguas servidas. A tal efecto, establecen la clasificación sanitaria de los lodos y las exigencias sanitarias mínimas para su manejo, además de las restricciones, requisitos y condiciones técnicas para la aplicación de lodos en determinados suelos.

This Resolution consisting of 8 articles aims at regulating the classification and registration of all kinds of fertilizers and soil improvers, either imported or locally produced, in Lebanon. A Detailed Composition Certificate (issued by the manufacturing company) must accompany the products locally manufactured or prepared; imported products need also a Free Sale Certificate (issued by manufacturing or distribution company), excepted for the ones imported for scientific reasons or research. Article 2 deals with conditions for fertilizers’ registration.

The Albanian National Land Consolidation Strategy is a national strategy with a cross-sectoral approach. The timeframe is a 15 year period from 2014 to 2028, divided into three major phases. The Strategy promotes the creation of economically viable, competitive and sustainable family farms. The overall aim is to contribute to sustainable development and to enhance the agricultural sector in an inclusive and gender and socially equitable manner, so as to ensure food security, alleviation of poverty and the rational use of natural resources.

The Strategy for the Development of the Forestry and Pastures Sector in Albania is a national strategy with a sectoral approach, whose objectives are: a) protection of forests, pastures and biodiversity; b) encouragement and maintenance of the sustainable management of forests and pastures; c) consolidation of linkages with the market economy; d) involvement of local stakeholders and users in the development of the forestry sector; e) institutional and legal reform of the forestry sector at national and local level.

These Regulations implement Directive 2001/42/EC of the European Parliament and Council on the assessment of the effects of certain plans and programs on the environment, as regards plans and programs which relate solely to the whole or any part of Scotland. Subject to the exceptions, where the first formal preparatory act in relation to a plan or program to which the Regulations apply is after 21 July 2004, the plan or program cannot be adopted, or submitted for adoption, unless it has been subjected to environmental assessment under the Regulations.
