This Resolution consisting of 8 articles aims at regulating the classification and registration of all kinds of fertilizers and soil improvers, either imported or locally produced, in Lebanon. A Detailed Composition Certificate (issued by the manufacturing company) must accompany the products locally manufactured or prepared; imported products need also a Free Sale Certificate (issued by manufacturing or distribution company), excepted for the ones imported for scientific reasons or research. Article 2 deals with conditions for fertilizers’ registration. Article 3 concerns the standards for: fertilizer nutrients, organic fertilizers, synthetic organic fertilizers, blended fertilizers (organic and inorganic).
