The present Ordinance enforces the Law on water, soil and waste of 4 March 2009. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to waterworks, the use and protection of waters, management of water resources as well as the protection of soil, sanitation of polluted areas and waste management.
This Act makes provision with respect to the procedures and processes in accordance with which land use in a planning area or zone are prescribed, managed, monitored and evaluated. The Act sets out the fundamental principles of land use, establishes land use planning authorities and provides with respect to land planing procedures and authorizations.
This Decree determines every zone throughout the entire territory of Azerbaijan and specifies the general principles of these zones separately. This State Standard has been set by Technical Committee (TK 09) on ecology and has been registered by the Decision No. 006 of the Collegium of the State Committee for Standardisation, Metrology and Patent. This State Standard is authentic translation of ISO 10381-5:2005 Soil quality -- Sampling -- Part 5: Guidance on the procedure for the investigation of urban and industrial sites with regard to soil contamination. The initial inspection shall be in 2020 to determine the requirements of the standard to comply with the international standards, norms, rules and recommendations.
This Decree states that the protection of cultural heritage is a set of measures to prevent deformation, destruction, alteration of the structure and loss of cultural value. The state authorities and municipalities shall carry out control over the use, as well as ensure the identification, research, inventory, monitoring and protection of cultural heritage.
