The Inauguration Ceremony of final record publication was organised by the Land project where Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim Hira, MP, Chairman, Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Land, Bangladesh National Parliament, Mr. Mesbah Ul Alam, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Land, People's Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Shahabuddin Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Jamalpur, Mr. Md. Mozammel Hoque, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mymensingh, Mr. Mario RONCONI, Minister Counselor, Head of Cooperation- Head of Unit, EU Delegation in Bangladesh, Dhaka, Mr. Md. Abdul Awal, Zonal Settlement Officer, Jamalpur, Mr. Mirza Sakhawtul Alam Moni, Mayor, Jamalpur Paurashava, Jamalpur, Mr. Atiqur Rahman Sana, Senior vice- president, Jamalpur Awami League, Jamalpur. The event was historical as starting time of the project, project location, challenges face by project and learning of survey and settlement works etc. However the team has been able to work only for two survey seasons and able to complete 13 mouzas with 17,000 land owners which previously taken 25-30 years.
