The present Law implements and completes the Federal Agriculture Act of 29 April 1998. The purpose of the present Law is to promote and improve the agriculture, including alpine economy, as well as to create a favourable framework for its sustainable development. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 8 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Production, alpine economy, quality and marketing (II); Social matters (III); Structural improvements (IV); Agricultural formation and vocational training (V); Administrative proceedings (VI); Fees, legal protection and penalties (VII); Final provisions (VIII).
