These Regulations make minor amendments to the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008, and the Town and Country Planning (Schemes of Delegation and Local Review Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 2008. The amendments concern applications for planning permission: an application for planning permission made under section 42 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 will not require to be accompanied by a pre-application consultation report and the “period allowed for determination of the application” may be extended by agreement under under section 43A(8)(c) of the Act.
