The FAO Legal Office provides in-house counsel in accordance with the Basic Texts of the Organization, gives legal advisory services to FAO members, assists in the formulation of treaties on food and agriculture, for which the Director-General acts as Depositary, publishes legal studies and maintains a database (FAOLEX) of national legislation and international agreements concerning food and agriculture (including fisheries, forestry and water).

These Regulations, made by the Deeds Registries Regulation Board under section 10 of the Deeds Registries Act, 1937, implement provisions of the Act relating to, among other things: the Deputy Deeds Registrar; registration of farm units; preparation of deeds and documents and qualification of persons; lodgement and execution of deeds; and other matters of procedure regarding registration of deeds.
Decreto Supremo Nº 66 - Aprueba reglamento que regula el procedimiento de consulta indígena en virtud del Convenio Nº 169 de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo.
En virtud del presente Decreto se aprueba el reglamento que rige el procedimiento de consulta de las comunidades indígenas, de conformidad con el artículo 6º nº 1 y nº 2 del Convenio Nº 169 de la Organización Internacional del Trabajo. El reglamento se aplica a todos los ministerios, intendencias, gobiernos regionales y servicios públicos. El artículo 7º indica qué medidas son susceptibles de afectar directamente a los pueblos indígenas y que, po rende, requieren de su previa consulta según el procedimiento aquí establecido.
Regulation respecting the leasing of land in the domain of the State for the building, operation and maintenance by private producers of hydroelectric power plants having a capacity of 25 MW or less (CQLR c T-8.1, r. 5).
The present Regulation is made under the Act respecting the lands in the domain of the state and the Watercourses Act. Section 1 establishes that the Regulation applies to the leasing of land and other immovable rights in the waters in the domain of the State or dry land required for the building, operation and maintenance by private producers of hydroelectric power plants having a capacity of 25 MW or less and related equipment or installations. El presente Decreto tiene por objeto crear un régimen especial con el fin de poner en funcionamiento los Territorios Indígenas respecto de la administración de los sistemas propios de los pueblos indígenas, conforme las disposiciones aquí establecidas, entre tanto se expide la ley de que trata el artículo 329 de la Constitución Política.
Decreto Nº 1.807 - Incorporación de la gestión del riesgo en los planes de ordenamiento territorial.
El presente Decreto tiene por objeto establecer las condiciones y escalas de detalle para incorporar de manera gradual la gestión del riesgo en la revisión de los contenidos de mediano y largo plazo de los planes de ordenamiento territorial municipal y distrital o en la expedición de un nuevo plan.
